From the first quarter of 2012 financial year, Nokia sold 12 million smartphones. This is two times lower than the same period in the year 2011, reports Associated Press with reference to the quarterly report of the Finnish manufacturer.
Nokia net loss for the quarter was 929 million euros on revenue of 7.4 billion euros. In comparison with last year revenues dropped by a third. Sales of mobile devices have brought the company 4.2 billion euros, of which 1.7 billion euros accounted for smart phones.
